About This Course
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible, according to the GDPR, for ensuring and ensuring compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679. Completion of the training program is a prerequisite for the exam to register with the AICQ/SICEV DPO register. The
Data Protection Officer course includes attendance at the Privacy Manager and Privacy Specialist training modules.
The course is structured over 11 days, for a total of 80 hours, and covers the following topics:

- The Governance strategy
- Profile, Roles and Responsibilities of the DPO
- Planning and execution of an audit according to ISO 19011
- Description of the state of compliance of an organization (accountability documentation)
- Case Study (PA and Conservation)
- Case Study (Tourism - Agritourism company with accommodation)
- Document archiving and preservation (ISO 14721 - OAIS, ISO 15489, UNI 11386 - UNI SINCRO)
- Develop and manage the information, online and offline
- Draft a letter of appointment of the DPO
- Draft letters of assignment for the Data Controller and for the authorised person
- Manage a request for data deletion (internally and towards sub-suppliers of services)
- Manage a communication to users following a security breach
- Draft contracts with external Data Processors: the case of the System Administrator
- Develop and manage the Registers of processing activities

Study materials in electronic format and tools useful for professional activity will be provided during the course.
The course is preparatory to the exam for registration in the AICQ/SICEV Data Protection Officer register.

Those wishing to enroll in the 20-hour Mod. 3 DPO course only must have previously attended a qualified AICQ-SICEV Privacy Manager course.
